archives and other work
This is an archives page of selected works, exhibitions, drawings, studio settings, sketches, ideas, projects, paintings, installations, ephemera, press -- all in various order. They are sorting themselves out over time as I'm having a hard time sorting them myself. Most of the work spans from the mid 1980s to the present They are not in chronological order but sort of. It's a small selection and the page is a work in progress. So a certain patience is required.
Some images have links to other sites, pages and video. Again, in progress. I'll be adding more info in over time.

Around 1987, I had my first computer,, an Amiga 2000, with which I made a tremendous amount of work -- it was still a world in which digital media was not accepted as a valid art practice. I was also making light works. The work above was printed on an early xerox ink-jet printer, which had a fine clay coating that resulted in a velvety surface which made the ink very much sit on the surface. I was also using, the famous Toaster hardware and software for live video projects. The strips above came from animations I was making. They were printed out, laminated and hung directed off the wall using 16 penny studding nails. 1992
1992 Two animation stills used and produced in the same way described above.
